Dear Father,

Thank You for Your mercy that is everlasting.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

John 15: 1, 2

Oh, how the Lord loves us!  His provision lifts us to be nurtured by Himself!  "We can do all things through Christ Who loved us and gave Himself for us."

How blessed we are to know that this world is not the end of our soul's existence. The Lord has promised us that our souls wrapped in a new body will live on with Him in Eternity. How sweet, that we can rest on the promise that we are just passing through this life and that this earthly body will one day be transformed 'in a twinkling of an eye.'  Our trials on earth will be something similar to an eye-blink, when we reach those heavenly shores.  And there will be no sadness, there.       Romans 8: 31... We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians 4: 16

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.  And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And theus we shall always be with the Lord.

Imagine what grand things the Lord can do through us, His servants, if we but yield to His leading!  Especially, His writers!

Today's world waits for words from the Holy Spirit of God, written by those who belong to Him.  Let us boldly step forward and

write words that people will understand and hold dear to their hearts.

As we remember the sacrifice of Jesus's bleeding death on the cross of Calvary and His triumphant resurrection on the third day, let us bow in thanksgiving for the victory He won for us. Praise Jesus, Lamb of God, who cleanses us from sin and leads us in the way, everlasting.

Lamentations 3: 22,23,24  NKJV "It is through the Lord's mercies, we are not consumed.  Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is Your faithfulness.  The Lord is my portion says my soul.  Therefore I hope in Him."

Often, we think we are the faithful ones because~  perhaps, after being away from Him for a while, we return and begin to pray again.  In actuality, the Lord is the Faithful One because He takes  the first step in the beginning by approaching and knocking at the door of our hearts, and stays and waits.  So, He has always been there, with us, waiting to hear from us.  The Lord is merciful to the soul who seeks Him.

Lamentations 3: 40.  "Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the Lord.  Let us lift our hearts and hands to God in heaven." 

Psalm 103: 14  "For He knows our frame  He remembers that we are made of dust". .

PRAYER:

We thank you for another day, Lord...for watching over us through the night.  Thank you that your mercies are from everlasting to everlasting.  Thank you for waiting for us to realize that your love is timeless.   Bring us to a point where we worship before you, confessing our shortcomings and asking for your mercy and compassion that is so freely given,  for the asking.  Bring us to that place where we can speak with you freely and eagerly wait for your response.  How comforting to know You are with us and will always be with us... In Jesus' name, Amen.

Hebrews 4: 15 "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses but was in all point tempted as we are without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace in the time of need."
